Premise

RIFT Studios is a multidisciplinary creative space designed for focused practice, exploration, and growth. A single adaptable room, continuously transformed through conceptual set designs, props, and spatial interventions that encourage new ways of thinking, creating, and collaborating.

RIFT was founded by two dancers who share a passion for encouraging creatives to explore their individuality and develop their practice beyond the expectations of their discipline. Having experienced the challenges that come with pursuing a creative path, they set out to build more than just a studio — they wanted to create a community.

A community that celebrates artistic growth as much as artistic achievement. A place where creatives can find support through periods of burnout, rejection, uncertainty, and redirection — recognising that every creative journey is different, and that growth is rarely linear.

At its core, RIFT supports collaborative practice, bringing together artists, designers, musicians, performers, photographers, writers, and makers from different disciplines to connect, exchange ideas, and create alongside one another. The space equally welcomes self-directed practice, providing room to develop ideas, experiment, and document process independently.

But RIFT is more than a studio — it is a creative home. Alongside studio access, we curate workshops, artist talks, live showcases, networking events, and multidisciplinary experiences. From industry-led sessions to events such as RIFT: Between the Lines, our programming is designed to help creatives build meaningful connections, gain new perspectives, and expand their practice.

One space. Different disciplines. Shared growth.
